Microsoft Live Search 2.0 Launching This Month
Microsoft is gearing up for the launch of its new Microsoft Live Search 2.0 with its Searchification event which will be held in Silicon Valley on September 26th. Mary Jo Foley of ZDNet has some details on the new enhancements to Microsoft Live Search, which Foley says Microsoft plans to update every spring and fall.
- New personalization capabilities integrated into Live Search
- An integrated location/calendar/presence service that may also tie in with Live Search 2.0
- A new capability integrating social networks, annotation (ratings and reviews) and search
- Future integration between Outlook and Live Search
